Playology Basics~

Shakespeare almost had it right, for it is not entirely~ (to be or not to be) for you already are a human(being,) perhaps it is~ to Play or not to Play!

We may Play many roles within the grand Games of Growth, to Learn throughout our Lives.

Essentially, we are all Playing roles as student and teacher "character ships," navigating relationships on multiple levels of Play.

As children, we Play pretend to develop our Character Roles, and we learn that way well.

Are you the Captain of your Character? Are you having fun Playing the Games of Growth?

All Players develop "issues," some requiring more than tissues, due to many factors. Most Players are dealing with untreated trauma, unlearned lessons, and or challenging choices of character.

Observe the many wonderful character roles being Played (Mom, Dad, Child, Doctor, Teacher, etc..) and notice the nuances of patterns in their relationship role-Play.

Friendly reminder~ Every day is full of invitations to Play, and you may say nay or yay in the way you Play!

A Dance of Definitions~
There is an abundance of definitions!
Many modern dictionaries are confusing people by defining words with multiple meanings, instead of assigning one definition for one word.

Also, many dictionaries are deceiving people with straight up deceptive definitions. For example, Oxford Language Dictionary defines Play this way~ *Play; Verb. Engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose.

*This definition ignores the facts that Play has serious and practical purposes! Infact, play can be deadly, which most people consider to be serious. This deceptive definition is most closely defining the word Party!  It appears many modern dictionaries are misguiding Players for a purpose, more on this later.

Basics for Balanced Play
~

Start Simply

Here is a simple definition of Play; Verb. Engage in activity for the opportunity to Learn.

Sense how Play starts simply by engaging/participating in an activity for the fundamental purpose to Learn. From there, things can become complicated.

As a simple acronym, PLAY~ Practice, Learn, Analyze, Yield. More details on this later.

Food for thought; Isn't Play a profound and memorable way to experience and learn? Why would anyone think of Play any other way? Are there "Play programs" with intent to deceive?

Witness as you watch things "Play-out," and observe the fact that all is at Play. Not all Play is Fun for all. We are all Playing different variations of characters by definitions and individual "constitutional make-ups."
